Student Spotlight: Nayeli María Poma Quispe

Meet one of our most regular and persistent students, Nayeli María Poma Quispe. She’s been with us since she was a tiny little tyke, and now she is 10 years old and is in 6th grade. Nayeli lives in zone Z with her parents Wilfredo Jesús and Elena, and siblings Willy and Doyana Luz. Her brother Willy and her two cousins also attend classes at LLI. Nayeli thinks that being picky is a waste of time and loves almost every color of the spectrum– yellow, red, orange, blue and pink, and promotes eating ceviche too. English and Math are her favorite subjects and when she isn’t attending English, Art or Library classes at LLI, Nayeli practices her volleyball skills with other LLI students and teachers. She supports Colombia, Perú, Germany, Spain and USA soccer teams (See not picky at all). She adores little puppies and while her hobbies are reading, painting and sports, she aspires to become an actress when all grown up.
Nayeli thinks that she is a smart and kind kid, and helps her mum a lot. But I could be taller, she says holding her hand way up high. That’s okay kid, your mum, dad and everyone at LLI loves you just the way you are!
