Volunteer Spotlight: Carlota Docio Ortiz

Meet Carlota, our recent short-term volunteer from Madrid. This was the first time she visited Peru and felt grateful for the entire experience. Though her stay with LLI was short, Carlota taught English and Sports in zone D & Z to 7 to 10 years old LLI students. She also co-taught Math, Chess and English with Javier Janik, in zone D. In zone S, she was engaged with Art and literacy classes. That’s a lot to do in a little time, but as organized Carlota is, she pulled it off quite impressively. “I have just finished my studies and will start to work in September, but hopefully I can visit soon!” She adds, “I am very organized and I loved the way LLI program is organized!” Glad to hear that, and to have you, Carlota!
